February flew by at Russettings Care Home, bringing both chilly days and heartwarming moments. Our garden showed the first signs of spring, with snowdrops blooming and colourful ‘lasagna’ planting pots starting to peek through. Residents embraced their inner chefs during our Friday “you name it, we’ll cook it” sessions, whipping up delicious treats like cheese straws, biscuits, and Nutella-inspired delights. Valentine’s Day was a highlight, with beautifully decorated tables, classic love songs, and a stunning heart-shaped cake from our talented chef Miguel.
